Fundraising Tips

1. As many as 20 teams will be allowed entry into the Geneva lakes Amazing Race. The Extreme and Recreational versions are offered with 10 teams each. This year a trip for two to Cancun, Mexico is offered to the winning team of the Extreme version. Winning the Recreational version earns you bragging rights and reason to consider the Extreme race next year.

2. Give yourself an edge by raising more than the other teams. You can also raise support to meet the entrance fee. Here are ideas for how to reach a goal of $2,250 here’s what you do.

Ask: Your employer: $250+ Five family members: $500 Five friends: $500 Vendors you do business with: $500 ($100/piece) Five community businesses: $500 TOTAL $2,250

You will be surprised how easy it is to do the fundraising.
Follow the principle that “getting started is 50% of getting something done.”

Dedicated in memory of
Heather Joy Buntrock

(9/10/1980 -9/10/2006).
After being diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) at age 5,
she lived a normal life until her senior year. In 1998 she had major
brain surgery to remove a tumor. Just two years ago Heather
succumbed to the disease. Heather encouraged others
by her contagious positive attitude and her faith in God.
